Shaler Township, Township in Allegheny County, United States.

Located at 40.5208 latitude and -79.9636 longitude, Shaler Township includes most of Glenshaw community and borders eight neighboring municipalities in Pennsylvania.

Originally established in March 1847 as Marion Township, the area was renamed after Charles Shaler, a Pittsburgh judge who presided over the 5th District Court.

The Shaler Soccer Club maintains Fawcett Field, offering multiple sports facilities and outdoor recreation spaces for community members throughout the year.
