The Hyatt Center is an office building in Chicago featuring a distinctive elliptical steel and glass structure that rises 207 meters and contains 48 floors. The complex provides 1,765,000 square feet of office space served by 34 high-speed elevators for its various corporate tenants.

The building was completed in 2005 after two years of construction on South Wacker Drive. Its modern design reflects the architectural developments that shaped Chicago's downtown office landscape in the early 2000s.

The building displays artwork throughout its interior spaces, including panels by Keith Tyson and a trompe-l'oeil mural by Ricci Albenda. These installations give the interior a distinctive character and draw attention as people move through the building.

The building entrance is marked by raised curved stone planters with grass areas on the south side, which help orient visitors arriving at the site. As an active office building, access to certain areas is restricted, so visitors should plan accordingly.

The modern lobby features bamboo groves and fountains that create a natural setting within the building's entrance area. This design choice sets the space apart from standard office lobbies and provides a calming visual experience for those entering.
