Avenue H, Metro station in Brooklyn
Avenue H is a local station on the BMT Brighton Line of the New York City Subway.
The station was opened on August 23, 1907, as part of the initial portion of the Brooklyn Union Elevated Railroad.
It represents one of the few remaining examples of the Dual Contracts era of rapid transit stations in NYC.
Operated by the New York City Transit Authority under the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Designated as a New York City Landmark due to its unique Victorian-era architectural features.
