Jay Cooke State Park, Natural reserve and state park in Carlton County, Minnesota, US

The park extends over 8,818 acres of land with rocky cliffs, waterfalls, and dense forests along the St. Louis River gorge.

The land became Minnesota's thirteenth state park in 1915, named after financier Jay Cooke who funded the Northern Pacific Railway construction.

Native American tribes used these grounds for centuries before European settlement, particularly for hunting and gathering along the river paths.

The park maintains 50 miles of hiking trails and offers year-round camping facilities with 83 drive-in sites and 21 electric hookups.

A 200-foot suspension bridge spans across the St. Louis River, allowing visitors to cross the rushing waters below.
