The Kentucky Medal of Honor Memorial is a bronze sculpture of a soldier on a granite base at Fifth and Jefferson Streets. The work stands on the grounds of the former Jefferson County Courthouse in downtown Louisville.
The memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day 2001 and honors Medal of Honor recipients from Kentucky. It recognizes soldiers who served from the Civil War era through modern conflicts.
