Alumni Hall

Alumni Hall is an indoor stadium with 5,710 seats at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. The facility serves as the primary gathering place for the Brigade of Midshipmen and houses the Bob Hope Center for the Performing Arts.

Construction began in 1987 and the building officially opened in 1991. This addition modernized the Academy's facilities and created a new central venue for the Brigade's gatherings and events.

Three large paintings by marine artist Tom Freeman depict significant moments in Navy history throughout the building. These artworks tell stories that shape how visitors experience the interior spaces.

The venue accommodates a wide range of events from assemblies to sports competitions and performances. Visitors should know that the space is actively used by the Academy and programs run on regular schedules throughout the year.

Inside the building, around 40 rooms display memorial plaques honoring supporters of the Academy and its mission. These dedications create a quiet record of those who have contributed to the institution.
