Art Projects International, Contemporary art gallery in Tribeca, Manhattan, US
Art Projects International is a contemporary art gallery in Tribeca displaying work by international artists in a dedicated space on Greenwich Street. The exhibitions span various media and styles of modern art production.
Jung Lee Sanders founded the gallery in 1993 initially in the SoHo neighborhood before later moving to Tribeca. This relocation marked a shift to a changing art district.
The gallery focuses on artists from many countries and frequently presents work by creators from Asia. Visitors encounter here an international art scene that extends beyond Western perspectives.
Visiting is possible Tuesday through Friday between 11 AM and 6 PM, with additional viewing times available by appointment. It is wise to check current opening hours before arrival, as these may change.
Four monoprints from an Il Lee exhibition in 2011 were selected by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for its permanent collection. This recognition by a major museum underscores the quality of work shown here.
