Built between 1927 and 1928 by architect John Mead Howells, the tower initially served as accommodation for women in college sororities through the Panhellenic Association.
The rooftop bar Ophelia maintains the building's tradition of social gatherings, continuing the legacy of the former Top of the Tower establishment from 1940.
The building provides furnished apartments for short and extended stays, with amenities including a fitness center, business facilities, and direct access to Manhattan attractions.
Rene Paul Chambellan created decorative sculptures combining Art Deco and Gothic elements across the exterior of this New York City Landmark building.
