Braehead, Greek Revival house in Fredericksburg, Virginia, United States.
Braehead features nine bays across its front facade with a square main section connected to a two-story kitchen building.
Built in 1858 by George Mullen for John Howison, the residence served as a location where General Robert E. Lee had breakfast before the Battle of Fredericksburg.
The property includes the main brick residence, stone icehouse ruins, and an antebellum house chimney base, representing mid-19th century Virginia architecture.
Located at 123 Lee Drive in Fredericksburg, the house stands on an 18.9-acre property within the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park.
Originally named Greenview, the house received its current name in honor of the Lee family residence where John Howison's wife spent her childhood.
