The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is a multi-purpose venue in Concord, North Carolina, with a main arena that seats around 5,000 people, two separate event halls, two reception halls, and several meeting rooms. The spaces can be arranged in different ways to fit a wide range of events, from trade shows to sports competitions.
The facility was built in 2002 and opened its doors in October of that year, becoming one of the main gathering spaces in the greater Concord area. In the years that followed, it gradually attracted a wider variety of events from across the region.
High school graduation ceremonies for students from Cabarrus County and Union County are held here, drawing large crowds of families each year. On those days, the parking area fills early and the building takes on a festive feel that is hard to miss.
The center is located along North Carolina State Route 49 in Concord and is easy to reach by car, with a large parking area on site. For bigger events, arriving early is a good idea since the access roads can get busy quickly.
The arena hosted Bound for Glory, one of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's biggest pay-per-view events, as well as several Ring of Honor Wrestling competitions. Wrestling fans from outside the region have made the trip specifically to attend events here.
