Cape Liberty Cruise Port, Passenger terminal in Bayonne, United States
Cape Liberty Cruise Port is a passenger terminal in Bayonne situated on Peninsula at the harbor entrance. The facility operates a large modern terminal building designed to handle cruise ship operations and passenger flow.
The site began as an industrial area in the 1930s and served as a military port facility during World War II. It was later redeveloped and opened as a commercial cruise terminal in the 2000s.
The Teardrop Memorial stands on the grounds to honor Russia's support after September 11, marking the solidarity between nations during that time. Visitors encounter this tribute as they enter the port area.
The terminal is conveniently located near Newark and is quickly reached from New York City for passenger arrivals. Parking facilities are available on site for travelers who drive to the port.
The terminal serves as home port for some of Royal Caribbean's largest cruise vessels that operate regularly from this location. A dedicated facility was built specifically to accommodate these massive ships.
