The Confederate Memorial Gates in Mayfield is a National Register-listed entrance to Maplewood Cemetery featuring six concrete stanchions arranged in three separate pairs. Each gatepost displays inscriptions and bronze plaques commemorating the Civil War era.
History
The gates were erected by the United Daughters of the Confederacy as their second memorial in Mayfield, commemorating the Confederate cause. The site received National Register listing in 1997.
