English Landing Park, Urban park along Missouri River in Parkville, United States
English Landing Park extends across 68 acres of land with three miles of walking trails, playgrounds, and sports facilities along the Missouri River bank.
The establishment of this recreational space in 1987 transformed an undeveloped riverfront area into a central outdoor destination for the Parkville community.
The park functions as a gathering place where local residents participate in outdoor activities, community events, and environmental education programs throughout the year.
Visitors can access the Missouri River through a boat ramp, use multiple picnic shelters, play disc golf, or exercise on the sand volleyball court.
The park provides direct observation points of Canadian geese migrations and other wildlife along the Missouri River natural corridor.
