Mausoleum of Abu Mansur al-Maturidi, Islamic mausoleum in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
The mausoleum features a double dome structure measuring 12 by 12 meters with a height of 17.5 meters, covered in blue majolica tiles.
The current mausoleum, rebuilt in 2000, stands at the burial site of Islamic theologian Abu Mansur al-Maturidi, who passed away in 944 AD.
The structure honors the teachings of Al-Maturidi, who emphasized the relationship between reason and faith in Islamic theological discourse.
Visitors can explore the mausoleum's interior hall, examine the white marble tombstone inscription, and observe the 24 arched windows around the dome.
The surrounding Chokardiz cemetery contains a collection of tombstones dating from the 9th to 18th centuries on the northern side of the structure.
