Casa Guipuzcoana, Colonial trading house in La Guaira, Venezuela.
The Casa Guipuzcoana extends across three floors with a central courtyard surrounded by eight columns and features three prominent balconies on its symmetrical facade.
Built in 1734, this structure served as the headquarters of the Real Compañía Guipuzcoana, managing trade between Venezuela and Spain until 1785.
The building represents Spanish civil architecture from the colonial period through its stone masonry walls, wooden floors, and carved wooden staircases.
Located at Avenida Soublette with Plaza Bolívar, the building now functions as the Governor's Office of Vargas State and Municipal Museum.
The ground floor contained six large longitudinal warehouses with direct street access for loading goods, while upper floors housed administrative offices and living quarters.
