Batasan Hills

Batasan Hills is a residential district in Quezon City that spreads across multiple urban zones with homes and local businesses. The neighborhood connects through three major roads—Commonwealth Avenue, Batasan Road, and Batasan-San Mateo Road—linking to surrounding areas.

The area became an official barangay in 1983 as part of administrative reorganization in Quezon City. Its first elected officials took office in 1986.

The neighborhood centers on the Batasang Pambansa Complex at Constitution Hill, where the House of Representatives conducts legislative sessions and makes national decisions. This institution shapes daily life and gives the area its political significance.

Getting around is easiest on foot or by using public transport along the main roads. The best time to explore is during the cooler, drier months when walking is more comfortable.

Alongside residential areas, the neighborhood hosts upscale developments like Filinvest Heights and the Sandiganbayan special appellate court. This blend of private homes and national institutions shapes what makes the district stand out.
