Korolyov Hotel Rooms in Perm

The Korolyov Hotel is a three-story building on Sibirskaya Street featuring architecture from the early 1900s with ornate plasterwork and decorative details throughout. The structure showcases the craftsmanship of that era through its carefully designed exterior and interior finishes.

Merchant Vasily Korolyov built the hotel in 1910 using profits from his lumber business. Provincial engineer Yemelyan Artemov designed the structure, contributing to the city's developing commercial center.

The hotel housed Grand Duke Michael Romanov in 1918 and poet Vladimir Mayakovsky in 1928, marking significant moments in Russian cultural history.

The building now houses a dormitory for Opera and Ballet Theater staff, with a beer bar accessible on the ground floor. Visitors can admire the exterior architecture at any time and get a sense of the historical structure and setting.

The building retains its original water heating systems, plumbing, and electrical installations from 1910, showcasing advanced engineering for the time. These technical solutions were unusual for their era and show how modern the building was when constructed.
