Tomb of Ertuğrul Gazi, Mausoleum in Söğüt, Turkey

The hexagonal structure features stone and brick walls, crowned by a lead-covered dome and complemented by rectangular windows on multiple sides.

Originally constructed as an open tomb by Osman Gazi, the mausoleum underwent modifications under Mehmed I and received restorations during Sultan Mustafa III's reign in 1757.

The mausoleum holds the remains of Ertuğrul Gazi, father of Ottoman Empire founder Osman Gazi, along with graves of several Ottoman warriors and commanders.

Visitors can access the mausoleum daily between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with dedicated parking areas and information signs available at the entrance.

The walls and windows of the mausoleum still display bullet marks from the Greek occupation period, when the structure endured significant damage.
