Eskişehir Zoo, Zoo in Ertuğrulgazi district, Eskişehir, Turkey.
Eskişehir Zoo is an animal facility located in the Ertuğrulgazi district, situated within the Sazova Science and Art Park and designed to house diverse species. The grounds are organized into separate sections for aquatic creatures and land animals, each with environments tailored to their specific needs.
The facility opened in April 2017 under the direction of Eskişehir's metropolitan municipality following approximately 2 years of construction work. The project benefited from partnership support, creating a new public space dedicated to education and animal care in the city.
This facility serves as a place where visitors encounter animals from around the world and learn about their needs and habitats. It demonstrates how local communities value the protection and understanding of wildlife through hands-on observation and education.
The zoo welcomes visitors from Tuesday through Sunday between 8:30 and 18:00, giving you flexibility in planning your visit. The grounds are easy to navigate on foot, and you can comfortably spend time exploring the different animal sections at your own pace.
The zoo features a special Undersea World section where visitors can observe stingrays and other marine creatures in large tanks. This section stands apart from the rest of the facility and offers insight into marine environments that differ notably from typical zoo exhibits.
