Tayfun Talipoğlu Typewriter Museum, Typewriter museum in Odunpazarı, Turkey
The museum exhibits over fifty typewriters from manufacturers including Olivetti, Remington Rand, Halda, Brother Industries, Alpina, and Facit in a historic mansion.
Established on May 15, 2016, the museum became the first institution in Turkey dedicated to preserving and displaying the history of typewriting technology.
The museum features wax sculptures of notable figures, including journalist Tayfun Talipoğlu and former prime minister Bülent Ecevit at his typewriter.
Located in the Şamlıoğlu Mansion, the museum welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 to 17:00, except Mondays, with guided tours explaining the collection.
The collection presents the complete evolution of writing technology through the decades, allowing visitors to experience typing on different historical machines.
