Yılmaz Büyükerşen Wax Museum, Wax museum in Odunpazarı district, Eskişehir, Turkey
The museum contains 198 wax sculptures spread across five exhibition halls, each dedicated to different themes including historical figures and contemporary personalities.
Established in 2013 by sculptor and Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen, the museum displays figures from the Ottoman Empire and Turkish independence.
The exhibition includes representations of Turkish leaders, artists, and global figures, with sections dedicated to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and democracy.
Located on Atatürk Boulevard, the museum is accessible by tram from the city center, with visitors getting off at Atatürk High School stop.
The museum directs all its revenue toward educational programs specifically supporting female students and individuals with disabilities in Turkey.
