Stockholm City Hall, Historic town hall in Kungsholmen, Sweden.

The red brick building features a 106-meter tower topped with three golden crowns, marking the eastern shore of Kungsholmen island in Stockholm.

Construction began in 1911 after architect Ragnar Östberg won the design competition, requiring eight million bricks before completion in 1923.

The Golden Hall contains 18 million mosaic tiles depicting Swedish history, while the Blue Hall hosts the annual Nobel Prize banquet.

Guided tours operate daily in multiple languages, allowing visitors to explore the ceremonial halls and climb the tower for city views.

The building combines Northern European brick architecture with Venetian Gothic elements, featuring decorated balconies, turrets, and intricate statues.
