Luzanivka Hydropark

Luzanivka Hydropark spans roughly 17 hectares along the Odesa coastline and is planted with goldenrain and oleaster trees throughout. The grounds feature interconnected pathways that lead toward the water and create different areas for visitors to explore.

The park was known as Kotovsky Park during the Soviet period, reflecting the practice of naming public spaces after political leaders of that era. A major redesign took place in 2011, followed by further improvements to key areas.

The central avenue serves as a gathering place where residents and visitors meet for outdoor activities and community events throughout the year. This space brings people together through shared everyday experiences in the open air.

The park is easy to walk through with well-maintained, wide pathways that make strolling comfortable and accessible. It is best visited during warmer months when the trees are full and the waterfront is most inviting.

The nearby Luzanivka Beach features natural sandbars that separate the Kuyalnik Estuary from the Gulf of Odesa with gentle slopes into the water. This unusual formation makes the shoreline distinctive and creates calmer spots for swimming.
