Diamondback, Steel hypercoaster at Kings Island, Ohio, United States
The Diamondback roller coaster stretches across 5,282 feet of track, incorporating ten airtime hills and reaching speeds of 80 miles per hour.
Opening in 2009 at Kings Island, Diamondback marked the first B&M hypercoaster installation with a splashdown effect, representing a $22 million investment.
The roller coaster's design reflects the characteristics of a diamondback snake through its serpentine track layout and specialized train configurations.
Riders must be at least 54 inches tall to experience the three-minute journey, which features a 215-foot first drop at a 74-degree angle.
The finale includes a splashdown element where water sprays up behind the train, creating a water effect as riders complete their journey.
