Adventure Express

Adventure Express is a steel roller coaster at Kings Island in Mason that uses two chain lift hills to carry riders upward. The track spans approximately 2,963 feet (904 meters) and reaches speeds of 35 miles per hour (56 kilometers per hour).

The coaster was designed by Arrow Dynamics and opened at Kings Island in 1991. It arrived as a mine-themed attraction that enhanced the park's offerings.

The ride incorporates exploration themes throughout its design, with tunnels featuring audio effects and decorative artifacts positioned along the queue. Visitors experience this thematic setting as they move through the space.

The ride operates trains that carry 30 riders at a time and can process about 1,600 passengers per hour. Visitors should expect varying wait times depending on the time of day.

The final tunnel features an eerie voice warning riders about the forbidden temple as the ride reaches its peak. This audio element creates a memorable ending to the experience.
