Kok Gumbaz mosque in Shahrisabz

Kok Gumbaz is a 15th century mosque in Shahrisabz defined by a large central dome supported by four arches. These arches create a spacious prayer hall with distinctive interior proportions.

It was built in 1437 under the direction of Ulugbek to honor his father Shakhruh. As the city's largest Friday mosque, it stands as an important architectural monument from that era.
