Borik Sports Hall

Borik Sports Hall is a modern multipurpose venue in Banja Luka designed with bold concrete forms. It accommodates around 5,000 spectators and hosts various sporting events throughout the year.

The facility was designed in 1974 by architect Sead Zahirović, blending Socialist and Modernist architectural styles from the Yugoslav era. After decades of use, the building floor underwent a major renovation recently.

The hall has served as a gathering place for sports fans and spectators from across the region for many years. Handball and basketball games held here are central to the local sports culture.

The building is well organized with plenty of seating throughout its spaces. It is best to arrive early during events to secure a good view and avoid queues.

The venue has long been home to one of the region's strongest handball clubs, whose achievements brought wider recognition to the facility. The raw concrete architecture is typical of postwar sports complexes and now carries historical protection status.
