Cathedral of Saint Bonaventure, Roman Catholic cathedral in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Cathedral of Saint Bonaventure exhibits modern architectural elements with a prominent bell tower added in 1991 to its white exterior walls.
The current structure, completed in 1973 by architect Alfred Pichler, replaced the previous Gothic building destroyed by earthquakes in October 1969.
The cathedral functions as the central religious institution for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Banja Luka, led by Bishop Franjo Komarica.
