The stadium opened on February 17, 2022, with an inaugural Bangladesh Premier League match where Bashundhara Kings won against Bangladesh Police FC.
The stadium hosts both the Bashundhara Kings and Fortis FC teams, while dedicated supporter groups gather regularly to support their teams.
The facility includes VIP boxes, broadcasting equipment, and multiple entry points to accommodate the flow of thousands of spectators during matches.
Built with an investment of 18 million euros, the stadium maintained an unbeaten home record for 31 consecutive games until February 2024.
