Meli Park, Theme park in Adinkerke, Belgium.
The park covered 75 acres with 31 attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, miniature golf, formal gardens, and a fairytale forest.
Alberic Joseph Florizoone established Meli Park in 1935 as an extension of his honey business, starting with educational exhibitions about beekeeping.
The Apirama dark ride, introduced in 1979, featured hundreds of mechanical bees demonstrating the process of honey production to visitors.
The park recorded 630,000 visitors in 1994, making it one of Belgium's primary attractions alongside Antwerp Zoo and Caves of Han-sur-Lesse.
In 1999, Studio 100 acquired Meli Park and transformed it into Plopsaland, while the Florizoone family redirected focus to their honey production.
