SuperSplash, Water coaster in Plopsaland De Panne, Belgium
SuperSplash is a water coaster at Plopsaland De Panne featuring a track that winds through multiple hills and curves before ending with a big splash into a water basin. The ride combines high-speed turns with a final steep descent that creates a dramatic water impact at the end.
The coaster was built by Mack Rides and opened in 2006 as a major attraction at Plopsaland. It marked a turning point for the park's expansion into high-speed water rides.
The ride incorporates elements from Studio 100's Piet Piraat character, connecting Belgian entertainment with thrill ride experiences at Plopsaland De Panne.
The trains hold 24 riders arranged in four rows of six passengers each, all secured with lap bars for safety. Expect to get wet, especially if you sit toward the front of the train.
The ride uses a vertical elevator lift that raises the cars straight up before releasing them into a sequence of drops and water splashes. This unusual approach creates an intense and thrilling experience from the start.
