Established in 1922, the museum relocated to the Renaissance-style Old Castle, which served as a royal palace for King Stefan Batory in the 16th century.
The institution maintains collections depicting the development of Belarusian traditions through archaeological finds from the 12th to 17th centuries.
Located at Castle Hill, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering guided tours in multiple languages.
The museum complex incorporates both the Old Castle and New Castle, with the latter featuring Rococo architecture from the 18th century.
