Tom y Jerry, Steel roller coaster in Parque Warner Madrid, Spain
Tom y Jerry is a steel roller coaster at Parque Warner Madrid that winds through two figure-eight patterns on an oval track. The ride carries passengers through fast turns and loops in an exciting path around the park area.
This roller coaster was originally designed as Boardwalk Canyon Blaster for Six Flags Fiesta Texas and opened there in 2000. It was later relocated to Madrid where it welcomed visitors starting in 2002.
The entrance displays design elements inspired by Tom and Jerry comics, featuring characters from the Warner Bros animated series. Visitors encounter these familiar figures throughout the decorations surrounding the ride.
Visitors should note that a minimum height requirement applies to ride this coaster, and the experience involves high-speed movements and sharp turns. It is best to secure loose items before boarding and prepare for an intense ride experience.
The ride uses a special booster wheel lift system for the hill climb, which sets it apart from typical chain lift systems. This innovative system was engineered by Ing.-Büro Stengel GmbH and built by manufacturer Zierer.
