Bisaurin, Mountain summit in Aísa, Spain
Rising to 2,670 meters above sea level, Bisaurin dominates the Western Pyrenees with steep limestone walls and extended ridges in every direction.
The mountain has marked the natural border between Spain and France since the Treaty of the Pyrenees was signed in 1659, defining territorial limits.
Local mountaineering groups organize regular expeditions to Bisaurin, maintaining a strong tradition of alpine activities in the Jacetania region.
The normal route starts from Lizara Mountain Hut, requiring an 800-meter elevation gain through marked paths across varied mountain terrain.
The mountain stands at the intersection of three valleys - Hecho, Aragüés, and Aísa - creating distinct microclimates on each of its faces.
