The Archaeological Museum occupies a restored 18th-century building in the Barrio de La Ranilla district, featuring two floors arranged around a central patio.
The museum contains over 2,600 specimens from the aboriginal Guanche culture, including ancient ceramics, tools, and mummified remains from pre-European Tenerife.
The exhibition halls present detailed information about Guanche pottery production methods, from gathering raw materials to shaping and decorating ceramic vessels.
The museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 21:00, Sundays from 10:00 to 13:00, with admission priced at 2 euros.
Among the notable exhibits is the Guatimac, an anthropomorphic clay figure, along with two preserved limpet shells discovered by researcher Telesforo Bravo.
