The Pasarela Jorge Manrique is a pedestrian bridge crossing the Segura River with a slender steel arch supporting the structure. The design uses a tubular steel frame combined with glass panels to create a light, open passage between two residential areas.

Construction of the bridge took place between 1994 and 1999 as part of a broader infrastructure development effort in the city. This project emerged from the need to create new connections between expanding residential neighborhoods.

The footbridge is named after Jorge Manrique, a 15th-century Spanish poet, honoring a literary figure important to local identity. Walking across it, you see how the city connects neighborhoods through reference to a shared cultural figure.

The bridge is easily accessible from both neighboring residential areas, making it simple to cross the river on foot. Clear sightlines along the river help visitors locate it easily when exploring the surrounding neighborhoods.
