Neguri Gane, Brutalist skyscraper in Benidorm, Spain.

Neguri Gane is a residential tower in Benidorm with 43 floors and raw concrete surfaces characteristic of brutalist design. The building displays bold geometric forms and a monumental structure that shapes the city's skyline.

Construction began in 1998 under the direction of Pérez-Guerras Arquitectos & Ingenieros and was completed in 2002. This 4-year project resulted in a landmark that transformed Benidorm's built landscape.

The name Neguri Gane comes from a neighborhood in the Basque region of Getxo, linking this coastal tower to northern Spanish heritage. Visitors who learn this origin often see the building as a cultural bridge between two distinct parts of Spain.

The building features four elevators serving residents and stands as the tallest residential structure on mainland Spain. Note that this is a private residential building that can only be viewed from outside.

The design required specialized engineering calculations by Julio Pérez Gegundez to ensure stability at this coastal location. Such technical challenges are common for tall structures in seaside climates and reveal the precision needed in modern construction.
