Platgeta del Mal Pas

Platgeta del Mal Pas is a sand beach nestled between the larger Levante and Poniente beaches along the Mediterranean coast. It stretches about 120 meters in length with fine golden sand throughout.

This cove lies near Bronze Age settlements and a former fishing village that transformed into an international tourism hub during the mid-20th century. This shift reshaped the entire coastal region.

The area holds autumn festivals honoring the Virgin of Intercession and Saint James the Apostle with regional music and traditional celebrations that bring the community together. Locals and visitors gather to experience the customs and religious devotion that shape life here.

The beach is easy to reach and has sun and shade spots for different times of day. Lifeguard stations and medical services are available on site.

This cove allows dogs year-round, making it one of the few pet-friendly beaches in the coastal area. Dog owners particularly value it for bringing their companions along.
