Torre Levante, Residential tower near Playa de Levante, Benidorm, Spain
Torre Levante is a residential building with 33 floors situated at the beachfront of Benidorm. The structure rises approximately 120 meters high and provides sea views from multiple apartments within.
The tower was completed in 1985 as the first building in Benidorm to exceed 30 floors. It established new benchmarks for how the city would develop vertically in the following decades.
The tower represents how Benidorm shifted from a small fishing settlement to a modern coastal resort built upward rather than outward.
The tower is located at Avenida de Madrid 18 with direct beach access and nearby shopping facilities. The surrounding area is flat and easy to navigate, making it simple to reach on foot from the city center.
The tower remained Benidorm's tallest building until 2002, when newer structures eventually surpassed it in height. Architects Carlos Gilardi and CYPE Ingenieros designed this landmark that marked the beginning of the city's high-rise era.
