Torre Punta del Cavall

The truncated conical structure stands at seven meters tall with a base diameter of eight meters, constructed from irregular stone masonry with lime mortar coating.

Built around 1600, the tower served as a strategic lookout point along the Mediterranean coast to protect against maritime threats and pirate invasions.

The tower received official recognition as Bien de Interés Cultural in February 1996, marking its status within Spanish architectural preservation guidelines.

Located at coordinates 38°31'29.8"N and 0°5'46.9"W, the tower remains accessible through local pathways near Hospital IMED Levante with free parking available.

The solid base structure contains evidence suggesting the previous presence of cannons on its upper terrace, indicating its military defensive capabilities.
