Es Trucadors, Peninsula and beach in Formentera, Spain
Es Trucadors is a narrow strip of land extending northward from Formentera, bordered by white sand beaches on both its eastern and western sides. The peninsula stretches several hundred meters as a thin sandbar between two water bodies.
The area gained an alternative name, Pas de n'Adolf, after a vessel named Adolf sank in these waters during the early 1900s. This name preserves a memory of maritime incidents around the islands.
This beach is known for its naturist tradition, where visitors embrace a clothing-optional approach to the shore. The open attitude reflects the relaxed character of the island.
Reaching this beach requires a walk of about 30 minutes from the Ses Illetes parking area, so plan accordingly for the approach. Bring water and sun protection, as no facilities or services are available on the peninsula.
The peninsula is part of Ses Salines Nature Park, where crystal-clear waters reveal Posidonia seagrass beds beneath the surface. These underwater meadows are an important part of the local ecosystem.
