Museu d’Etnografia de Formentera, Ethnographic museum in Sant Francesc Xavier, Spain.

The museum displays traditional tools and equipment used by Formentera inhabitants, including farming implements, fishing gear, and household items from past generations.

Inaugurated in 1993, the institution faced closure in 2000 until government bodies from the Balearic Islands intervened to maintain its cultural preservation mission.

Through its collection of artifacts, the museum documents the transformation of Formentera from an agricultural society to a modern tourist destination.

Located at Carrer de Jaume I 15, the museum occupies 100 square meters across two spaces and operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 14:00.

The museum's courtyard features an original engine from Formentera's salt works train, representing the island's historical salt production industry.
