Casa de la India, Cultural foundation in Valladolid, Spain
Casa de la India operates from a building with Oriental motifs, featuring dedicated spaces for exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and cultural events.
The foundation was established in 2003 through a partnership between the Indian Embassy in Madrid, Valladolid City Council, and the University of Valladolid.
The center maintains a specialized library containing literature and resources about Indian culture, while offering regular workshops in traditional Indian dance.
Located at Calle del Puente Colgante 13, the center opens Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 14:00, with additional afternoon hours Tuesday to Friday.
The center hosts LABINDIA, a research initiative focusing on intercultural artistic creation between Spanish and Indian performers and creators.
