Terra Natura Murcia

Terra Natura Murcia is a zoo and recreation facility that displays animals from Africa and the Iberian Peninsula in separate sections. The park houses more than 50 different animal species across its grounds.

The park was created to pioneer new approaches to animal care and species protection in Spain. It introduced international breeding programs to the region and helped save endangered animals.

The park is open most weekdays from morning through early evening, with longer hours on weekends. It helps to wear comfortable shoes and plan time for each section, as the grounds are quite large.

During summer months, the facility gains a water recreation area called Aqua Natura, expanding the visit into a dual experience. This seasonal addition brings together animal viewing and water activities in one location.
