Playa de Amadores

The 488-meter-long beach features white sand imported from the Caribbean and transparent blue waters protected by two breakwaters reducing wave action.

The beach was artificially created in the early 2000s as part of a coastal development project to increase tourism in the Mogán municipality.

The promenade connecting Amadores to Puerto Rico displays traditional Canarian architectural elements and hosts regular music performances by local artists.

The beach provides rental services for umbrellas, sunbeds, and water equipment, with restaurants and shops located along the beachfront promenade.

Regulations prohibit music and ball games until 6 PM, creating a controlled environment different from other beaches in Gran Canaria.
