Costa Alegre

Costa Alegre is a sand beach in Mogán extending about 55 meters along the shore with fine golden sand protected by an artificial breakwater made of sand and gravel. The beach offers rental chairs and umbrellas as well as showers and restroom facilities for visitors.

The beach was created as part of Mogán's coastal development plan, transforming the natural shoreline into a structured recreational area. This project allowed the town to establish a modern bathing facility for residents and tourists.

The beach serves as a gathering place where locals and visitors meet to enjoy the coastal setting together. The cove offers a comfortable way to access the water, suitable for both families and sun seekers.

The beach is easy to reach and provides plenty of space to relax, especially in the early morning when it is less crowded. Nearby restaurants and shops make it convenient for visitors to find everything they need quickly.

The northern winds and the artificial breakwater create conditions where waves stay moderate year-round. This makes the spot a reliable place to swim regardless of season or weather shifts.
