Flamingo

Flamingo is a wide sandy beach with white sand stretching about 250 meters along Playa Blanca's coast. The water here is shallow and calm, making it ideal for swimming and families with children.

The beach developed from a natural cove and was transformed into a monitored swimming area during the 1990s. This development was part of Lanzarote's efforts to enhance its coastal zones for tourism.

Nearby restaurants serve traditional Canarian seafood specialties that reflect the island's fishing heritage and local food culture.

The beach has showers, sunbeds, and waste bins, along with parking for cars nearby. Bus stops are within a 4-minute walk, making it easy to visit without a car.

At low tide, shallow water areas form where small fish gather, offering chances for snorkeling. These natural tidal pools let visitors watch sea life up close.
