Patio del Zoco, Córdoba, Spain, Historic shopping center in Judería district, Córdoba, Spain

Patio del Zoco is a shopping center in the Judería district with a spacious courtyard surrounded by arcaded galleries on three sides. A staircase connects to a second level where additional shops and workshops are located.

The building dates to the 16th century and was originally a noble residence of the Armenta family. It later became the Casa de las Bulas, where residents could purchase religious documents.

Artisans work here displaying traditional techniques in silverwork, ceramics, and woodcarving that have been passed down through generations in Córdoba. Visitors can observe the craftspeople engaged in their daily work and witness their skills firsthand.

The center is accessible from two entrances: Averroes Street and Judíos Street. The courtyard layout makes it easy to navigate and find shops throughout both levels.

A hidden passage from the upper floor connects directly to a bullfighting museum located next door. This unexpected link between the two buildings catches many visitors by surprise.
