Palacio Episcopal, Renaissance archbishop's palace in Old Town, Spain
The Episcopal Palace stands across from the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, featuring a grand façade with Renaissance architectural elements and a central courtyard.
Built upon the remains of a Visigoth palace, the structure underwent transformations from an Omeya castle to its current form through multiple renovations.
The Diocesan Fine Arts Museum within the palace displays religious art collections that represent the ecclesiastical heritage of the Córdoba region.
Located at Calle Torrijos 12, the palace occupies 14,000 square meters, making it one of the largest buildings in Córdoba's historic center.
The palace contains preserved Caliphal baths visible in the Campo Santo de los Mártires and sections of the original wall that defined the complex.

The monuments of Cordoba encompass religious and civil buildings from the 1st to the 20th century. The Mosque-Cathedral with its 856 columns, the Alcázar with its tiered gardens, the Roman bridge over the Guadalquivir, and the Medina Azahara reflect the Roman, Muslim, and Christian periods. Flower-filled patios, medieval churches, and Renaissance palaces complete this architectural ensemble in the historical center.
