Hossa National Park

Hossa National Park spreads across three municipalities and features extensive marked trails winding through forest landscapes. The terrain is shaped by lakes, ponds, and distinctive glacial ridge formations that create the park's distinctive character.

Rock paintings here are among the largest prehistoric art collections in Finland, created about 3,500 years ago and showing hunting scenes and spiritual symbols. Some paintings remain visible today and offer rare insight into how ancient people viewed their world and sacred beliefs.
